The German School Seoul International is looking for a professional and reliable Accountant for the administration as of June 15, 2025. The Accountant plays a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization by managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing key financial insights. This position is responsible for accurate financial reporting, efficient transaction processing, and supporting the organization’s overall fiscal health.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Financial accounting: manage account books (accounts receivable, payable, travel expenses, banking and tax) and accounting systems to keep up to date and ensure that the financial data is accurate, invoicing and receivable collection, provider payment, reconciliations
- Financial Management & Compliance: ensure accurate financial reporting, statutory payments, prepare and submit tax documents, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and tax requirements
- Budgeting & Cost Control: develop and monitor budgets, control costs, analyze financial data, and implement cost-saving strategies
- Process & Operational Improvement: maintain financial records, and support financial planning and project initiatives
- Stakeholder & Strategy: relationships with clients, boards, banks, auditors and authorities, support financial decision-making, align financial operations with business goals, and drive efficiency improvements
Experience & Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years’ preferred experiences in financial management within public organizations or accounting firms
- Expertise in accounting, compliance, budgeting, cost control, and revenue management
- Proficient in ERP and financial management systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Experience working in multinational companies or multicultural environments is an advantage

General conditions:
- Working hours: 30-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
